Christine Castillo

Christine “Chris” Castillo is a mom, wife, papa bear, sister, good friend, and a public servant. She and her family, collectively, have served Bexar County for 136 years, and she wants to continue the legacy her dad started during her younger years. Born and raised on the southside of San Antonio, and continues to live and thrive on the southside. Chris spent 33 years of her life with the District Clerk’s office, in different capacities, and the passion remains in her heart. She started as an entry-level clerk and was promoted along the way, several times, and retired in 2019 as a Division Chief. She has done the work. Her plans include making dealings with the clerk’s office convenient by implementing online accessibility, introducing curbside service, and/or satellite offices throughout the county. She also wants to make sure all employees are consistently trained with procedural updates and to attend customer service classes. Experience matters, and she wants to put her years of experience back to work for you.
