Biography
Cristian Mendoza Ruvalcaba is a nurse practitioner, educator, and advocate running to represent Oregon State Senate District 3. He has dedicated his career to improving health and education outcomes, serving patients, students, and communities across Oregon. As a faculty member, Cristian works to advance best practices in nursing education and mentors the next generation of healthcare professionals. Born and raised in Southern Oregon, he is deeply committed to ensuring access to quality healthcare, equitable education, labor rights, and social justice for all. Cristian believes Oregon thrives when every person can live with dignity, safety, and opportunity, and he is running to make those values a reality for his community.
