Curtis Calabrese

Dr. Curtis Calabrese is a lifelong Palm Beach County resident, airline captain, and safety professional

running to represent District 4 on the County Commission. Raised in a family with deep local roots, Curtis

grew up watching small businesses, neighborhoods, and public institutions shape the character of the

community he still proudly calls home.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Curtis served as a naval aviator before continuing his career in

commercial aviation, where he now works in leadership roles focused on safety, accountability, and

organizational integrity. His professional life has centered on making high-stakes decisions, managing

risk, and protecting the people who depend on sound judgment.

Curtis is running because too many families are being priced out of Palm Beach County, overdevelopment

is eroding quality of life, and public trust in local government has been weakened. He believes the county
