Cayden will be the first out trans man elected in Massachusetts!
Biography
Cayden Davis is a public health professional, community advocate, and proud trans man running to Councilor at Large in Worcester, Massachusetts. Originally from a small town in Maine and raised in a working-class family, Cayden moved to Worcester nearly a decade ago to attend Clark University—and never looked back. He fell in love with the Main South neighborhood and chose to stay, building a life as a working-class renter and active member of the community.
A first-generation college graduate, Cayden earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and a Master’s degree in Community Development. His background led to a career in public health, where he has worked extensively in harm reduction, policy advocacy, and coalition-building. His work focuses on making communities healthier and more equitable by ensuring that public policy reflects the needs and lived experiences of everyday people.
Cayden is committed to building a Worcester where working people, renters, and historically marginalized communities have a true voice in decision-making. When he’s not working toward a more just and inclusive city, he enjoys live music, caring for his plants, drinking coffee, and spending time with his cat, Pumpkin.
