Biography

Delvin D. Davis is a sixth-generation Georgian and third-generation Atlantan with deep roots in civic engagement and community development. A proud “’80s Grady Baby” from Atlanta’s historic Pittsburgh neighborhood, he is the son of the late Paul and Cynthia Davis and grandson of community leaders Paul and Hattie Beatrice Garland. Delvin is a graduate of Gideons Elementary, Parks Middle, and Therrell High School’s Law & Government Magnet Program. He earned his degree in Political Science and English Writing from Alabama State University, where he was a student leader and co-founder of Students Taking Action Today Implementing Change.

Returning to Atlanta, Delvin continued his family’s legacy through neighborhood leadership, currently serving as Vice President of his local association. His advocacy focuses on affordable housing, food insecurity, economic equity, infrastructure, and environmental justice.

Professionally, he is Managing Member of DD&A Consulting, leading political strategy and community engagement for local and state campaigns. A lifelong member of Ariel Bowen Memorial United Methodist Church, Delvin’s work is grounded in faith, service, and a deep commitment to Atlanta’s future. He still lives in his family home in Pittsburgh, continuing the legacy of service that shaped his path.
