Biography
Evan Done is a dedicated community advocate, public policy expert, and recovery leader running to represent Utah State Senate District 13. With a career rooted in service and systemic change, Evan currently serves as the Advocacy & Public Policy Director for the Utah Support Advocates for Recovery Awareness (USARA). In this role, he has been a leading voice on Capitol Hill, championing legislation that expands access to healthcare, improves behavioral health resources, and protects the rights of vulnerable Utahns. Evan understands that District 13 deserves a Senator who will fight for equity and inclusion. His platform is built on the belief that public policy should be driven by lived experience and a commitment to the wellbeing of all people. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, Evan is deeply aware of the importance of representation in the halls of power and is committed to ensuring that Utah remains a place where everyone can thrive. Evan is an active community organizer who has spent years building coalitions to address the state’s most pressing challenges. He will bring his expertise in legislative strategy and his passion for social justice to the State Senate, working to create a more just, healthy, and prosperous Utah.
