Biography
Justin Gerstenfield is a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and a dedicated advocate for equity and inclusion in public life. With a background in higher education and a doctorate in Higher Education Leadership, Justin has spent his career ensuring students feel supported, empowered, and seen.
Since moving to Nashua with his husband in 2017, Justin has built strong ties in the community and is now running to represent Ward 5 on the Board of Aldermen. He first shared his intention to run with members of Nashua’s LGBTQ+ community, collecting his earliest nomination signatures from those who have long supported and uplifted him.
Justin is committed to ensuring LGBTQ+ voices are heard at every level of local government and believes representation, access, and advocacy must guide how the city serves all of its residents.
