Biography
Isabella Petroni is a leader, organizer, and lifelong resident running to be elected to the Framingham Board of Library Trustees. Having been involved with politics and government at a young age, being on several youth engagement boards, she understands the importance of youth representation in spaces where they are underrepresented. Having graduated with a dual degree from the University of New England, she returned home to become the next Executive Director of the Framingham Earth Day Festival, working to plan and run this annual Framingham staple, due to her love of the community and wanting to give back to it through a life of public service. As a library card user since the age of 3, she has always enjoyed the various programming and services provided through the library and wants to make sure that everyone has the opportunity to do so, especially with marginalized communities, such as the queer community, of which she has been an openly proud member since high school. Everyone should experience the joy of community that is found within the Framingham Public Library.
