Biography
I was elected to represent you in the State Assembly in 2022. I passed the law to stop the banning of books and stop foster care children from living in business offices and detention centers. I am a trained social worker and have a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) and have my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree. I currently serve as Chair of the Budget Subcommittee on Human Services and Chair of the Select Committee on California’s Mental Health crisis.
