Biography
Jason Hoskins is the proud son of two union parents, an attorney, and a public servant running to represent Michigan’s 7th Senate District. He has dedicated his career to expanding opportunity, strengthening communities, and delivering real results for the people he serves. Before serving in elected office, Jason spent nearly a decade working as a legislative staffer in both the Michigan House and Senate, gaining firsthand experience in how policy is shaped and how government can better serve residents.
Jason later served on the Southfield City Council, where he worked to support local economic development, strengthen neighborhoods, and improve quality of life for residents. Now serving as a State Representative, he has focused on growing Michigan’s economy, supporting small businesses, expanding affordable housing, and protecting access to justice.
Grounded in values of hard work, fairness, and service, Jason believes Michigan is strongest when everyone has a fair shot at success, with strong public schools, safe and affordable communities, accessible healthcare, and an economy that creates opportunity for all. He is running for State Senate to continue delivering results and building a stronger future for Oakland County and Michigan.
