Biography
Jenny is a proud Nashville native and graduate of McGavock High School, and a first-generation college graduate. She and her wife, Maddy, are raising their two children, Tucker and Lennon, in the Donelson community they love. Jenny brings nearly two decades of hands-on experience in MNPS, giving her a deep understanding of what it takes to deliver a high-quality education for every student. As a teacher, coach, administrator, and district-level leader, she has worked at every level of our school system and knows firsthand what students, families, and educators need to succeed. These experiences uniquely position Jenny to thoughtfully evaluate how district resources are prioritized to ensure classrooms come first, advocate for families and strengthen school–community partnerships, and champion policies that empower teachers and promote student success.
