Biography
Jess Rivera is a Marine Corps veteran, small business owner, and community-based leader in Wilson, North Carolina. Raised in a working-class family, Rivera has built a life centered on service, discipline, and a commitment to strengthening rural communities. Now the owner of a downtown barbershop set to open early next year, Rivera is creating a community hub where she will listen directly to elders, veterans, teachers, and working families across District 4. Rivera is running for the North Carolina State Senate to bring accountability, investment, and honest representation to Greene, Wayne, and Wilson counties.
