Biography
Bailey is a renter, community organizer, and LGBTQ rights activist running to represent all of Mount
Pleasant on the City Commission. They have dedicated these past 2 years to uplifting unheard voices,
educating people about Medicare For All, and championing tenants’ rights. They believe that Mount
Pleasant is a city with unlimited potential, but is being bogged down by lazy politicians and a lack of
territorial expansion. Bailey supports higher wages, better jobs, and more affordable homes, and will not
quit until Mount Pleasanters have more.
