Washington House of Representatives, 32nd District, Position 1

Keith will be an important voice for equality!

Biography

Keith Scully is running for an open seat in the House of Representatives after serving 10 years on the Shoreline City Council, including a term as Mayor. On the Council, Keith fought to make sure Shoreline remained an open, welcoming place for all. Shoreline flies the Pride flag, has a police detective focused on bias crimes, and has made it clear with pronouncements and outreach that are all welcome here. He also fought for affordable housing by mandating its construction and dramatically increasing housing stock around light rail station areas, increased nonmotorized infrastructure, and brought mental health professionals into the field for behavioral health emergencies. In Olympia, he’s committed to protecting the advances the LGBTQIA+ community has achieved and continuing the fight for equal rights and reproductive rights for all. A parent of four children, Keith is also committed to K-12 funding, reforming Washington’s regressive tax system, and protecting our local and global environment.
