Biography
Luke Maynes is a proud lifelong resident of Salt Lake County. They are a business leader, community organizer, union member, and vocal advocate for progressive policy. In their profession as a System Analyst for a tech company, they have worked to rethink processes and improve efficiency, saving millions of dollars each year while improving services for customers and employees. Now they want to put those skills to work for the people in their community. They are running to represent District 3 on the Salt Lake County Council because they believe that Salt Lake County families deserve a county government that will invest in proactive programs that will provide security, affordability, and opportunity for residents so they can build for their families’ futures
