Adrian Maldonado Jr. is a seasoned civic engagement leader whose advocacy career began at age 15, fueling his work to empower underrepresented communities through electoral politics and policy change. A Salisbury native, he has driven grassroots impact as National Senior Campaigns Strategist at Main Street Alliance, where he secured $1.1 billion in childcare funding and redefined small businesses as political stakeholders. As Chair of the NC Democratic Party Hispanic Caucus, he’s mobilized Latino voters through expanded education programs and coalition-building. His expertise spans voter access (Fair Elections Center), youth engagement (Voters of Tomorrow), and intersectional advocacy, bridging on-the- ground organizing with high-level strategy to build a more inclusive democracy. From small business equity to voting rights, Maldonado’s leadership delivers tangible progress for marginalized voices.
