Michael Cass

Michael Cass is dedicated to serving his community and believes in a stronger future for Janesville. Born and raised in Janesville, he’s seen firsthand the resilience and determination that defines his city. With over a decade in the criminal justice field, he’s worked to keep communities safe and helping justice- involved individuals build better futures. Now, as a consumer protection investigator, he fights on behalf of individuals from businesses who are not abiding by the law. Michael isn’t sitting on the sidelines when it comes to local government and community involvement. As chair of the Community Development Authority, he’s working to make sure individuals have access to housing and supporting local organizations. Additionally, Michael is serving on two other boards for his city as well. He believes safe, affordable housing is a right—and he’s ready to keep fighting for a Janesville where everyone can thrive.
