Deborah Nardozzi

AZ State Senate, 8

Deborah will be an important voice for equality in the Arizona State Senate!

Biography

Deborah Nardozzi is a community organizer, small business owner, and Democratic leader shaped by a lifetime of service. Raised by two public school teachers, Deborah learned early how to make every paycheck count—keeping food on the table, paying the heating bill, and still helping neighbors in need. Those lessons of resilience and shared responsibility have guided her ever since.

In 2007, Deborah chose South Scottsdale to raise her family. She balanced double shifts with parent-teacher nights, built her small business after bedtime stories, paid bills at the kitchen table, and still knocked doors to organize her neighbors. When others said it couldn’t be done, Deborah built the South Scottsdale Democrats Club. When political insiders dismissed her grassroots organizing, she helped flip legislative seats.

That same community-driven leadership led Deborah to serve District 8 in the Arizona State House, where she brought the voices of working families directly into the legislative process. For Deborah, leadership is about more than holding office—it’s about building inclusive spaces, listening, and working together to deliver results.

Now, Deborah is running for the Arizona State Senate, bringing her organizing experience and legislative record to the fight for fully funded public schools, affordable housing for working families, and dependable childcare parents can count on. She continues to lead the way she always has: with her community beside her.
