Biography
Jamie Palumbo was born in Lexington, KY, and grew up in the 76th House District. He is a son, a brother (the third born of four boys), and an uncle from Lexington, Kentucky. He is a graduate of Bryan Station High School and the University of Kentucky with a BA in political science. He is a member of Delta Tau Delta fraternity and served as Corresponding Secretary, Philanthropy Chair, and IGPA Chair. He was the College Democrats of Kentucky- External Communications Chair 2001-2002, President 2002-2004; National Council of the College Democrats of America 2002-2004; Delegate to the Democratic National Convention in 2004 and 2012; Delegate to the 2011 YDA convention in Louisville, and was a member of the Platform Committee; He has volunteered for numerous campaigns throughout his life. He is a 2026 Survivor Fellow and a 2025 Fall Demand A Seat graduate. He is a former dive coach of 28 years and is active in the community. He is an advocate for public education, affordable and accessible healthcare, civil rights, gun violence prevention, supporting the arts, supporting our veterans, helping those with housing and food insecurities, ending domestic violence, and whatever else he can do to help others.
