Neil Pople

Neil Pople is a community advocate and public affairs manager running for the Natomas Unified School District Board of Trustees in Sacramento, California. A product of public schools and a graduate of California State University, San Bernardino with a degree in Social Sciences, Neil believes deeply in the power of education to change lives.

As a former foster father, Neil experienced firsthand the importance of having educators and school leaders willing to listen and advocate for a child who needed additional support. That experience inspired his commitment to ensuring every student has the opportunity to succeed.

Neil has spent years working in public policy and community advocacy and currently serves as President of a Sacramento-area LGBTQ+ political organization. He has also served on school district committees focused on public safety and district property. As an openly gay candidate, Neil is committed to ensuring LGBTQ+ students are safe, respected, represented, and able to thrive.

Neil is running to bring thoughtful, accountable leadership to Natomas schools and create every opportunity for every student.
