Mark Proctor

Mark Proctor is a lifelong public servant, small business owner, and Democratic candidate for Tennessee State House District 59. He spent 25 years in law enforcement serving communities across Tennessee, where he built a career centered on public safety, accountability, and respect for the Constitution. While serving in law enforcement, Mark also owned and operated a small business in Nashville, giving him real-world experience balancing public service with the challenges of running a business. That perspective keeps him grounded in the economic realities facing working families and local communities. Mark is running for office to protect personal freedom and privacy, strengthen public safety, invest in public education, and build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top. He believes the government should focus on solving real problems and treating people with dignity, not engaging in divisive culture-war politics.
