Biography
Sam Rosemark is a lifelong resident of North St. Paul, Maplewood, and Oakdale, with deep family roots in the community. He has dedicated his career to advocacy, education, and public service, previously serving as Director of Advocacy at the University of Minnesota Alumni Association. Sam has a proven record of bringing people together, advancing equity, and delivering results for his community. As an openly gay man, Sam is committed to ensuring that every resident—especially those in marginalized communities—has a voice in government. He champions policies that protect privacy, support reproductive freedom, and safeguard the rights and equity of transgender students. Sam also focuses on practical solutions to local challenges, including education, mental health services, and public safety, emphasizing approaches that address root causes. Rooted in his community and driven by a desire to make a tangible difference, Sam is running to represent District 44 in the Minnesota Senate. He brings energy, experience, and a collaborative approach to public service, committed to building a stronger, fairer Minnesota for everyone.
