Kirby Samuell

Kirby Reed Samuell II is a foster and adoptive dad raising a large, neurodiverse family with his husband, Tom. Together they have built a home grounded in love, inclusion, and community responsibility. Married since 2019, Kirby and Tom understand firsthand the challenges families face navigating housing, education, healthcare, and public systems that too often fall short.

Kirby currently serves as Vice President of the Reynoldsburg Area Democrats and as a member of the Reynoldsburg Parks and Recreation Commission, where he works to expand community access to safe, 5 inclusive spaces. Professionally, he is a certified Guardian ad Litem and Adult Guardian (person and estate), licensed in insurance and financial services, and pursuing a legal education with a focus on public service and justice reform. As an openly gay candidate, Kirby is committed to transparency, accountability, and equity in local government. If elected Truro Township Trustee, he will prioritize strengthening township services, improving infrastructure, and ensuring that every resident — regardless of background, income, or identity — has a voice in shaping the future.
