Biography
Sara Martinez was elected as Dallas County Justice of the Peace, Precinct 5, Place 1 in 2014. She presides over evictions, debts claims, small claims, class c misdemeanors and various administrative hearings.
Prior to being elected, Judge Martinez ran a solo law practice focusing on family and criminal law. She also served as a Dallas County Public Defender.
As a first generation American and daughter of migrant farmworkers, she fiercely believes in providing access to education and government institutions to all persons.
