Biography
Serenity Johnson is a proud Kentuckian from Hardin County, where she is running for city council in Radcliff, Kentucky. Growing up in a military family, she spent various points of her childhood living in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, and overseas in Germany. She moved to Kentucky in 2010, where she has lived in the greater Hardin County area since her arrival. Serenity is a passionate advocate for civic engagement at the state and local level. She firmly believes that democracy only functions when people participate. Since 2023, she has proudly lent her voice across the Commonwealth of Kentucky to the local issues that affect her community and her state. As a candidate for city council, Serenity believes in proactive leadership, community engagement, and future-minded planning. Her goal is to look beyond just the dollar signs to understand how the city’s ordinances and budget affect the people living there. Once elected, her priorities will include keeping Radcliff affordable for the people who live and work there, and collaborating with fellow council members to find practical, tangible solutions to the issues her city faces.
