Biography
Sherrie Aaron is a retired Army veteran, small business owner, and community advocate running for Columbus City Council District 3. Raised by her grandmother after losing her mother at a young age, Sherrie understands firsthand the challenges working families face. As an openly LGBTQ leader in a military community, Sherrie believes representation and accountability matter. Her campaign focuses on public safety rooted in prevention and trust, economic opportunity for working families, and equitable access to housing and city services. Sherrie is committed to transparent leadership and building a District 3 where every resident feels seen, valued, and protected.
