Jacqueline Slaby

Jacqueline Slaby is a public servant, community organizer, and creative strategist running to serve on the Kalamazoo City Commission. They have spent the last decade helping people navigate systems and build power through their work in education, urban planning, and civic engagement. After years working in cities like Philadelphia and Rome, they returned home to Southwest Michigan to grow roots and help shape communities where everyone can belong. Jacqueline believes Kalamazoo is at its best when every resident has access to safe housing, public investment, and a real voice in local government.
