Biography
Stormie Forte is currently a member of the Raleigh City Council. She is a Raleigh native who received a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science degrees from UNC-Chapel Hill. She obtained her Juris Doctorate from North Carolina Central University. In addition to being a licensed attorney, she has a real estate license, as well as certifications for Ombudsman, mediation, and rehabilitation counseling. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. She is committed to solving the challenges of homelessness and affordable housing in Raleigh. She will work to improve access and efficiency with public transportation, supporting small locally owned businesses, updating and expanding infrastructure and increasing positions within the City of Raleigh Public Safety departments.
