Biography
“Born and raised in Schaumburg, I come from a proud working-class family where I learned the values of hard work, resilience, and community. Growing up, I was deeply inspired by my grandmother, a passionate activist who dedicated her life to standing up for justice and holding politicians accountable. She instilled in me the belief that politics isn’t just about power—it’s about people.
As a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and a trans woman, I know firsthand how deeply political decisions impact marginalized communities. In today’s climate, I feel it is more important than ever to be actively involved in the political process. My experiences have fueled my commitment to advocating for equality, protecting civil rights, and building a future where everyone has a seat at the table.
From an early age, I witnessed how political decisions shape the lives of everyday families. Those experiences ignited my passion for community service and advocacy. Whether it was attending protests with my grandmother or engaging in grassroots organizing as an adult, I’ve always believed in the power of collective action to drive meaningful change.
Today, I bring that same passion to my work as I strive to create opportunities for others and champion the issues that matter most: economic equity, accessible education, environmental justice, and the protection of civil rights. I believe in bridging the gap between communities and policymakers, ensuring that every voice is heard and every concern addressed.
I am committed to building a society where everyone can thrive, no matter who they are or where they come from. Together, we can create the change our communities deserve.
With a background in customer service, creativity as a designer, and a lifelong commitment to learning, I pride myself on thinking outside the box to find solutions. But above all, I’m driven by the core belief that when we empower people, we strengthen our democracy.”
