Biography
Quint Withers is a proud sixth-generation Jacksonian running to represent Ward 7 on the Jackson City Council. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Millsaps College and has over 20 years of experience as a business and accounting professional with McGowan Working Partners Inc. Additionally, he is a third-generation real estate professional with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices – Ann Prewitt Realty serving the Jackson metro area. Quint’s commitment to our community is reflected in my service at Fondren Presbyterian Church, where he previously served as an elder and currently co-moderate the Property Committee. Through this role, he has contributed to preserving, enhancing, and growing one of Jackson’s treasured landmarks in the heart of our city. Quint’s dedication to service extends beyond the church. For over two decades and appointments by Governors Musgrove, Barbour, Bryant, and Reeves, he has proudly served on Volunteer Mississippi (Mississippi Commission for Volunteer Service), twice serving as Board Chairman. In this role, he helped advance their mission of engaging and supporting Mississippians of all ages and backgrounds in service to their communities. He was deeply honored to have received the President’s Volunteer Service Lifetime Achievement Award from President Biden in 2023, acknowledging over four thousand volunteer hours devoted to uplifting the State of Mississippi. With strong community ties and a vision for progress, Quint is uniquely qualified to represent Ward 7 and help steer Jackson towards a brighter future.
