Washington, DC – Today LGBTQ Victory Fund, the only national organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ leaders to public office, endorsed 2 more out LGBTQ candidates running in 2022 and 14 more out LGBTQ candidates running in 2023. Victory Fund has now endorsed 20 candidates running in the 2023 cycle.
Mayor Annise Parker, President & CEO of LGBTQ Victory Fund, released the following statement:
“2023 is when we go all-in to support LGBTQ candidates at the local and state level because they are our firewall against the next wave of anti-LGBTQ, anti-choice legislation. This year’s historic Rainbow Wave made clear that we have never been stronger, we have never been more unified and we have never been more fired up. Momentum is on our side and we intend to use every ounce of it to support these highly qualified LGBTQ candidates who are ready to serve the communities they love.”
