Washington, DC – Today LGBTQ+ Victory Fund, the only national organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ+ leaders to public office, endorsed Will Rollins for Congress (CA-41). The U.S. must elect 21 more LGBTQ+ U.S. Representatives for equitable representation, according to LGBTQ+ Victory Institute.
“LGBTQ+ Victory Fund is proud to endorse Will Rollins’ campaign, a critical opportunity to restoring a pro-equality majority in Congress. Will is a former prosecutor and committed public servant with the political wherewithal to fight for policies that benefit all Californians, from tackling climate change to expanding access to health care. With anti-LGBTQ hate growing, Will’s candidacy sends a strong message that the LGBTQ+ community refuses to back down in our fight for equitable representation,” said Mayor Annise Parker, President & CEO of LGBTQ+ Victory Fund.
“I’m thrilled to once again receive LGBTQ+ Victory Fund’s endorsement. From my experience in law enforcement, I know firsthand just how important it is to defend our community against hate and extremism. Yet even in this dangerous moment, Ken Calvert has continued to attack our community. That’s why I look forward to working hand-in-hand with Victory Fund to defeat him in 2024, and to continue our fight for equality and freedom for all Americans,” said Will Rollins.
