McBride currently serves in the Delaware State Senate
WASHINGTON–LGBTQ+ Victory Fund spotlight candidate Sarah McBride officially became the Democratic nominee for the U.S. House seat from Delaware following Tuesday’s primary. Favored to win in the heavily Democratic state, McBride is likely to make history as the first out transgender representative in Congress.
