With Election Day 12 days away, LGBTQ+ Victory Fund is announcing its final slate of 2026 endorsements. The October slate adds 29 LGBTQ+ candidates in 13 states and Washington, D.C. They are running for city councils, school boards, county offices and state legislatures.
They are veterans, educators, social workers, small business owners and public servants. Many are running in places that have never elected an out LGBTQ+ official. In El Cajon, California, Patrick Grillot would be the city’s first. In Delaware, Maureen Madden would be the first in the 38th District. In Spokane County, Washington, Danny Tarkenton would be the first out LGBTQ+ county prosecutor.
We are also sharing our full list of endorsed incumbents. More than 450 LGBTQ+ elected officials are on the ballot this year, and they are holding the line against anti-LGBTQ+ attacks in city halls, school boards and statehouses. Meet your 2026 endorsed incumbents and find the leaders running in your state.
