Washington, DC – Today Victory Fund, the nation’s only organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ leaders to public office, endorsed 17 LGBTQ candidates from across the nation. Victory Fund has endorsed more than 145 candidates this election cycle, which has a historic number of LGBTQ candidates running for statewide and federal office.
“Our latest slate of endorsed candidates are viable, exciting leaders who will champion LGBTQ equality and work to address the real concerns of their constituents,” said Victory Fund President & CEO Aisha C. Moodie-Mills. “As opponents of equality shift their focus toward state and local anti-LGBTQ efforts, these leaders will be critical voices to humanize our lives and standup to those who target our community. Representation matters, which is why Victory Fund is proud to endorse these incredible LGBTQ candidates.
