Washington, DC – Today Victory Fund, the only national organization dedicated to electing LGBTQ leaders to public office, endorsed Jared Polis in the Colorado gubernatorial race. If elected in 2018, Polis would become the first openly LGBTQ person to serve as governor of Colorado and one of the highest-ranking LGBTQ elected officials in the country.
Victory Fund President & CEO Aisha C. Moodie-Mills released the following statement about Polis’ endorsement:

Victory Fund will provide campaign, fundraising and other support to Polis as an endorsed candidate. Since 1991, Victory Fund has helped thousands of openly LGBTQ candidates win local, state and federal elections.
