Victor Ravago is Co-founder and CEO of Bravo Hospitality Group, a Midwest based hotel ownership company. A hotel company specializing in repositioning midscale full-service hotels in Illinois and Wisconsin. The Bravo portfolio includes a mixture of Marriott and Choice branded properties, soft brands, and independent hotels with a variety of amenities and facilities including full-service restaurants, bars, conference centers and water parks. Since its founding in 2019, Bravo has grown to acquire and operate four hotels, in four cities with 300 associates. As CEO, Victor has been at the helm of day-to-day operations while simultaneously leading the development and acquisition efforts of the portfolio’s assets.
Victor has spent the last 19 years as an advocate for social and economic justice, both in and out of the workplace. His work began his community involvement by advocating for immigration friendly policies at a state and federal level in 2008 and organizing with California Equality to fight for Marriage Equality. Since then, Victor has been committed to fighting for social progress for immigrant and LGBTQ communities.
Victor is the former Board Chair and Treasurer for the Center on Halsted, the largest LGBTQ Community Center in the Midwest. Before joining the Center on Halsted Board, Victor served on the Board of Directors for United We Dream, Board of Director for the San Diego LGBT Community Center, and Board of Governors for the Human Rights Campaign.
In addition to his community involvement, Victor is an active member of the business community. He currently serves as Vice Chair for the Wisconsin Hotel & Lodging Association and serves on the policy committee for the Illinois Hotel Association. Prior to moving to Chicago, Victor was appointed by Mayor Pete Buttigieg to serve on the Board of Managers for the St. Joseph County Hotel Motel Tax Board.
Victor earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from California State University, East Bay, and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame.
