Amazing news from Texas: Ann Johnson WON her race for the Texas state House!
Ann will join a growing number of LGBTQ women in the state House and help them pass pro-equality legislation. Her victory is a positive sign that more LGBTQ voices are joining the Texas legislature. Texas is home to some of the worst anti-LGBTQ legislation in the nation, but now there’s an increasing number of state legislators to stop bigots in their tracks.
This victory is a huge step forward for LGBTQ Texans, and we’re so excited to see the positive changes it will make.
