Virginia House of Delegates candidate Danica Roem – running to become the only out trans state legislator in the nation – has even more good news in her historic race against incumbent Bob Marshall: she dramatically outraised him in the month of June.
Danica’s broad support from District 13 voters enabled her to raise $85,637 in the June reporting period, compared to Delegate Bob Marshall’s $4,585, nearly 20 times the amount.
Danica also received over 1,000 more donations than Virginia’s self-proclaimed “chief homophobe,” who was only able to attract 27 donations in all of June.
In just 29 days, Danica received an overwhelming amount of support from small donors, while Bigot Bob struggles to find voters willing to buy into his divisive agenda.
Danica has been tirelessly knocking doors and making calls in the district to find solutions to local problems, and her newest fundraising numbers show that her campaign has resonated with voters.
