LGBTQ+ Victory Fund congratulates spotlight candidate Emily Randall on winning her election to be the first out LGBTQ+ Latina to serve in Congress, and the first LGBTQ+ person representing Washington state in Congress.
LGBTQ+ Victory Fund President & CEO Annise Parker released the following statement:
“Washington voters made the right call by sending Emily Randall to the House of Representatives. Not only is Emily making history as the first out LGBTQ+ Latina to serve in Congress, but we’re confident having Emily in Washington will send a powerful voice to our to Washington D.C. who will fiercely advocate for her constituents. We are proud of Emily’s history-making campaign and excited to have her voice.”
