Two incumbent LGBTQ officials are running for re-election in New Jersey primaries today, and an LGBTQ candidate for Dallas City Council has his runoff on Saturday. All three candidates have been endorsed by Victory Fund.
State Rep. Tim Eustace, one of just two openly LGBTQ state legislators in New Jersey, is seeking his fourth term in the General Assembly. Eustace, who is from District 38, has been at the forefront of writing and proposing pro-equality legislation in the state. Both Eustace and Zipprich are running unopposed in today’s primary.
Polls in New Jersey are open Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern. The general election will take place November 7.
