Today Victory Fund endorsed 10 new candidates for local office across the U.S. — including three incumbents. Victory Fund is devoted to recruiting and running candidates to push for equality and defend against anti-LGBTQ efforts at all levels of government.
Among the endorsed candidates is Tyler Titus, running for School Board Director in Erie, Pennsylvania. If elected, Tyler would become the first openly transgender person ever elected in the state. In Louisiana, newly endorsed candidate Seth Bloom would become the only openly LGBTQ elected official in the state if he wins a seat on the New Orleans City Council.
