Biography
Rep. Ambureen Rana is a dedicated advocate for everyday people, committed to creating positive change and opportunities for our community. She is serving her first term in the Maine House of Representatives, on committees working to fund Maine communities fairly and address our housing needs.
Rana grew up in the Bangor area and witnessed the struggles families face daily, sparking her passion for economic justice. She has spent her career working for people to get access to the support, stability, and safety they need.
Rana earned her degree in biology from the University of Maine and a certificate in Leadership, Organizing, and Action from the Harvard Kennedy School. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and exploring nature in Bangor.
