Beach Pace

Washington County Commission Chair, At-Large

Beach will be an important voice for equality in Washington County!

Beach has lived in Washington County with her wife and children since 2012. Committed to a life of service, Beach is the Chief Executive Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Columbia Northwest and successfully ran for Hillsboro City Council in 2018 as her first bid for elected office. She is a current board member of League of Oregon Cities and is a board alumna of the Westside Queer Resource Center.

After a successful nine-year career of leading sales and marketing teams in the pharmaceutical industry, Beach found her calling in the social change sector when she began serving as Vice President and Executive Director of the non-profit City Year San Jose/Silicon Valley. Before joining Big Brothers Big Sisters, Beach also served as Vice President of Roadtrip Nation, also a non-profit organization.

Before her work in the private sector, Beach served in the U.S. Army for seven years, including as Bomb Squad Executive Officer and Commander within the Ordnance branch. She earned her Bachelor of Science from the United States Military Academy at West Point and her Master of Public Administration from Northern Michigan University.

At home, Beach always finds time for her wife of nineteen years, Jincy, their two teenage children, and her mother-in-law who recently joined their household. Beach boasts her grilled cheese-making skills and reliable chauffeur services for her children, and she is never too busy to find the fun and positive in everything she does.
