Biography
Turner Bitton is the current Chairman of the Glendale Neighborhood Council. For four years, he has led
efforts to create safer streets, keep public spaces clean and litter-free, and bring more of our neighbors
into civic affairs. Turner is running for Salt Lake City School Board because the Salt Lake City School
District is at a crossroads. As Salt Lake City grows and changes, the school district needs leaders willing
to fight for the future of our schools. An optimistic and goal-oriented leader, Turner believes that the future
of Salt Lake City and the school district is bright.
Turner is a dedicated community leader who drives to ensure every child gets a quality public education
and is a product of public schools. Turner will fight to ensure that the Westside’s voice is heard and
provide leadership that is accessible, present, and willing to listen.
