Biography
Peter is a first-generation Latvian-American, non-profit leader, entrepreneur, and LGBTQ community advocate. He grew up in Wauwatosa, WI, and graduated from Marquette University High School. He attended George Washington University but ultimately graduated from the University of Louisville (BA in Political Science). Before joining the mortgage industry, he was executive director for a non-profit Latvian organization in Michigan and owned a restaurant in Louisville, KY. A mortgage professional since 2004, he returned to Milwaukee in 2012. He is active in the non-profit community and takes pride in supporting worthy causes. Peter enjoys spending time with his four nieces and nephews, two of whom attend University of Wisconsin schools. He resides in the Jackson Park neighborhood of Milwaukee with his beagle, Booker.
