Biography
Fidencio Gallardo is a husband, teacher, professor, and local mayor running for School Board in the second largest School District in the nation. He has spent the last 35 years serving the students and families of Los Angeles Unified School District because he believes in great neighborhood public schools. Fidencio also prepares new teachers at California State University, Los Angeles and is an 8-year city council member currently serving as mayor in the City of Bell. He also serves as Educational Innovation Deputy for LAUSD School Board President Jackie Goldberg where he works tirelessly to support the students, families, teachers, and staff in Board District 5. Fidencio lives with his husband Carlos in the community where he grew up, has taught in since 1989, and hopes to represent on the L.A. School Board.
