Biography

Dallas Harris is the State Senator representing Nevada’s 11th District. Dallas was appointed to the Nevada State Senate in 2018, following the election of her predecessor Aaron Ford as Attorney General. In the legislature, she focuses on criminal justice reform, LGBTQ issues, and uplifting the voices of underserved communities. Outside of her legislative service, Dallas is Of Counsel at Davison Van Cleve, a law firm focused primarily on energy law. Dallas attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Computer Science in 2008 and 2009, respectively. She continued her education at Claremont Graduate University where she earned a Master’s in public policy in 2012. After gaining an interest in the legal profession, Dallas completed her studies at George Washington University Law School.
