Biography

Rep. Alicia “Liish” Kozlowski (they/them) is serving their first term representing Duluth, district 08B, at the Minnesota State House of Representatives. As a community organizer, they’ve co-led KwePack (Indigenous wellness group) elevating Indigenous well-being from local to national platforms. They’re worked in business development, higher education, and most recently as Community Relations Officer for the City of Duluth. At the Captiol, they serve on the Capital Investment, Economic Development Finance and Policy, Housing Finance and Policy, and the Labor and Industry Finance and Policy Committee. Rep. Kozlowski was recently appointed to the Great Lakes Commission and Minnesota Indian Affairs Council. During their first term, they co-created the first Queer Caucus in the DFL party and were elected by their peers as Vice Chair of the People of Color and Indigenous (POCI) Caucus driving racial and gender equity.
