Biography
Todd Larson is a proud son of Wisconsin. After serving in the Peace Corps in West Africa, Todd attended law school and graduate school in Seattle. His first career comprised of twenty years in the United Nations, serving in an array of legal and administrative capacities around the world. Todd is best known for having brought the UN to acknowledge the importance of parity in administrative treatment for LGBTQIA+ staff, for the first time in the then 60-year history of the organization. Todd’s second career was as a senior Presidential Appointee in the Obama Administration, brought on board to give effect and sustainability to the tenets of an historic Presidential Memorandum establishing LGBTQIA+ human rights and development as a new US foreign policy priority. After the Obama Administration, Todd retired to his family farm, where he continues to serve his community, e.g., as County Board Supervisor.
